Russ E. White, MD, MPH, FACS, FCS (ECSA), is the Chief of Surgery and Director of Medical Education, at Tenwek Hospital in Kenya.  Dr. White has served continuously for twenty years at Tenwek, which hosts hundreds of short-term medical missionaries every year.
